- You should have some prior experience playing the piano, whether in the past or currently.
- You should be comfortable playing the piano with both hands and coordinating different actions for each hand.
- You should have successfully learned songs on the piano through other methods, such as sheet music, Synthesia tutorials, or online videos.
This guide primarily covers the strategies to learning by ear, focusing more on the mental process of figuring out the correct notes. Having the visual-motor skills to play the notes is a must-have!
